Proposed Board Rule Changes

On February 17, 2023, the MOSERS Board of Trustees adopted several new and revised board rules. You may submit written comments to MOSERS regarding these changes at any time prior to April 21, 2023. All changes will take effect on April 21, 2023.

Pay Raise

How will the approved pay raise for state employees affect my benefit?

On Monday, February 27, 2023, Governor, Mike Parson signed supplemental spending bill, HB 14. This bill will implement an 8.7 percent cost-of-living adjustment for all active state employees.

The 2023 COLA

The Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2023 is 5%. This COLA applies to all retired general state employees who are members of MSEP, MSEP 2000, or MSEP 2011, as well as members of the Judicial Plan and the Judicial Plan 2011.
