In general, you are a member of the Administrative Law Judges & Legal Advisors' Plan (ALJLAP) if you were employed as an administrative law judge or legal advisor prior to April 26, 2005.

COLA
Employed prior to August 28, 1997, you will get an annual COLA in retirement of 4-5% until you reach your COLA cap. After you reach the cap, you will get an annual COLA based on 80% of the percentage increase in the average Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Employed on or after August 28, 1997, your COLA in retirement will be based on 80% of the percentage increase in the average CPI (0-5%).
Service Transfer
If you have prior service as a Missouri legislator or prosecuting attorney, you may be able to transfer that service into the ALJLAP. Contact MOSERS.
