Missouri State Employees' Retirement System (MOSERS)

Retirement Benefits

General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, Conservation, Lincoln University, State Technical College of Missouri, and university employees, except University of Missouri all have retirement and survivor benefits from MOSERS.

University of Missouri employees have different benefits and providers and are not members of MOSERS. They receive benefits from the University of Missouri system.

Insurance Benefits

University employees, excluding Lincoln University, should contact their HR department for information about insurance benefits.

Term Life Insurance Coverage

• General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, Lincoln University, and State Technical College of Missouri employees have term life insurance coverage provided through MOSERS.
• Conservation employees have term life insurance coverage provided by Conservation.

Disability Coverage

General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, Conservation, State Technical College of Missouri, and Lincoln University employees have disability coverage provided through MOSERS.

Medical Coverage

• General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, and Lincoln University employees have medical coverage provided through MCHCP.
• Conservation employees have medical coverage provided through Conservation. 
• State Technical College of Missouri employees have medical coverage provided through State Tech.

Dental/Vision Coverage

• General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, Conservation, and Lincoln University employees have dental/vision coverage provided through MCHCP.
• State Technical College of Missouri employees have dental/vision coverage provided through State Tech.

Employee Assistance

• General State Employees, Legislators, Judges, and Lincoln University employees have an employee assistance program provided through MCHCP.
• Conservation employees have an employee assistance program provided through Conservation.
• State Technical College of Missouri employees should contact their HR department regarding employee assistance programs.
