MOSERS’ investment portfolio returned 16.2%, net of fees and expenses, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The return exceeded both last year’s 10.2% performance and the Board’s assumed long-term rate of return of 6.95%. It is also MOSERS’ highest return since fiscal year 2021 and its fourth consecutive year of improved results.

This year’s performance grew the trust fund from $9.5 billion as of June 30, 2025, to an all-time high of $10.8 billion as of June 30, 2026.

MOSERS’ investment team outperformed the portfolio’s policy benchmark return of 14.3% by 1.9 percentage points, adding approximately $181 million to the trust. Fiscal year 2026 also marked the completion of a two-year transition to a new asset allocation approved by the Board in 2024.

“Completing the move to our new asset allocation was a multi-year effort, and this year’s results reflect the discipline our team brought to it,” said MOSERS Executive Director Abby Spieler. “Working alongside our Board of Trustees, we will stay focused on the long term and continue to strengthen the trust fund.”
