2026 MOSERS Board Election Results
The results are in! Active state employees reelected Crystal Wessing and Jenny Jacobs to continue serving on the MOSERS Board of Trustees, and retired members elected Ronda Stegmann as their new Board representative. All three will begin their four-year terms on January 1, 2027.
The Board of Trustees establishes and maintains policies, procedures, and objectives for the retirement system's operations. They also set expectations for and monitor benefits administration and investment performance, including:
- Oversight of the retirement, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance plans: The Board develops rules and policies to implement plan provisions set forth by law.
- Oversight of the investment program, including asset allocation and risk management: Trustees are responsible for preserving the long-term corpus of the fund, maximizing total returns within prudent risk parameters, and acting in the exclusive interests of System members.
- Oversight of defined contribution plans (MO Deferred Comp and CURP): Trustees are responsible for ensuring the investment options are appropriate for Plan members, ensuring the Plans are operating in compliance with laws and regulations, and monitoring the overall administration of the Plans.
