Browse help topics and find out more about our recommended system requirements that will enhance your MOSERS website experience. Choose a topic from the drop down and click "Go".

Security refers to preventing unauthorized access to a computer system or network. MOSERS' secure areas use several layers of technology to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to the internal network.  Our information technology department manages a networking architecture that includes screening routers, filtering routers, and firewalls.

MOSERS' secure areas are automatically secured/encrypted, but MOSERS' public site can be accessed as either secure or unsecure.  Keep in mind, MOSERS will never initiate a request for your date of bith, social security number, Member ID, PIN, or other personal information by email.  Never reveal your password or other personal information openly over email or chat sessions.

When you have finished browsing MOSERS' secure area, use the Logoff button to end the session.  This will securely close out your browser session and expire the cookies that were set in your session.
