PreRetirement Coming Soon

2019 Schedule Coming Soon!

[Posted on 11/15/2018 at 2:37 PM]

It’s almost time! The new year is right around the corner and with it comes another slate of PreRetirement Seminars. Keeping with the tradition of the last few years, 2018 PreRetirement Seminars filled early in the year and stayed full. MOSERS educators provided PreRetirement information to more than 3,100 members through in-person sessions across the state, on university campuses and via online webinars. The 2019 schedule for MSEP & MSEP 2000 Seminars as well as MSEP 2011 Seminars and online Webinars will be available online in mid-December.

MSEP & MSEP 2000 PreRetirement Seminars will start up again in February 2019.

Visit our website regularly for the most up-to-date information. Remember, if you are within 5 years of retirement eligibility, you are eligible to attend a seminar. Keep an eye on your email for an invitation to register.

MSEP 2011 PreRetirement Webinars and Seminars will begin in March 2019.

MSEP 2011 PreRetirement Seminars and online Webinars will begin again in March 2019. Our website is the place for the most-up-to-date information, so visit regularly. If you are within five years of retirement eligibility and a MSEP 2011 member, be on the lookout for your email invitation to register for either an in-person PreRetirement Seminar in Jefferson City or an online webinar.

Don’t Forget! Sessions fill quickly. Once registration is officially open, we recommend signing up for a seminar sooner rather than later. Log in with your MOSERS Online ID to view the schedule and to enroll in a session. You must be registered to attend. Your spouse or guest is welcome to attend with you, even if they are not a state employee. If your guest is also a state employee within 5 years of retirement eligibility, they must register separately (as a member via their MOSERS Online ID) to receive their own personalized benefit estimate.

Be sure to attend the correct session for your plan. Seminars cover only the plans listed. To receive accurate information about your benefits, you must attend a session designed for your plan. You may attend a session that doesn’t cover your plan as the spouse or guest of a registered seminar attendee. However, you should still register and attend a seminar designed for your plan in order to learn about your benefits.
