Throughout fall 2008 and spring 2009, MOSERS, along with the Retiree Connection group, will be hosting post-retirement “coffee breaks” for retirees. The “coffee breaks” will allow us to reach out to retirees, give us a chance to have direct communication with you, and provide an opportunity for you to interact with other state retirees in your area. Amendment to Board Rules 2-5 & 3-5 and the Addition of Board Rule 8-1
The board approved the following board rules effective on June 19, 2008. The amendment to board rules 2-5 & 3-5 were made to conform to legislation passed in 2007, while the new rule was implemented pursuant to legislation passed in 2007. You may submit written comments regarding this rule to MOSERS chief counsel at any time prior to July 19, 2008. The rule will go into effect on July 19, 2008. However, the Board will consider any comments received at the July board meeting, and has the authority to modify or rescind its rule as it deems appropriate.
