College & University PreRetirement Planning Seminar
You've waited years for your retirement! You can "win" in retirement by making good decisions. Find out more by attending a MOSERS College/University PreRetirement seminar. Registration at least two weeks in advance is required by all participants including those on campus.
This special session of PreRetirement Planning targets higher education institution employees who are within five years of retirement (or already eligible). This is a part-day session covering program highlights only, held on campus at specific colleges and universities around Missouri.
Find out more about the choices you will make at retirement and the basic differences between plans, including:
- Your eligibility for MOSERS retirement
- The retirement process and important due dates
- Calculating your benefit amount
- The choices you will make about retirement
- BackDROP and how it affects you
- Cost-of-living adjustments affecting your benefit
Some sessions may include additional information from Social Security or campus Human Resource staff on health insurance or other benefits in retirement.
After you have registered, please contact the HR office for details about the location and time of this shortened session on campus. There is no cost to attend.

Please Note:
Registration closes two weeks prior to the scheduled session. Remember to allow for delivery/processing time. You will receive a reminder for your seminar. If you do not receive a reminder within one week of your selected seminar, call (800) 827-1063, ext. 6196.
