If you were hired before
July 1, 2000, you will have the option of choosing to
retire under either the Missouri State Employees’ Plan
(MSEP)
or the Missouri State Employees’ Plan 2000 (MSEP
2000). During the second step of the two-step retirement
process, you will elect a retirement plan and choose a
benefit payment option. Benefit estimates that provide
information needed to choose a plan and a payment option
will be mailed with your election form. If you were hired
on or after July 1, 2000, you will automatically participate
in the MSEP 2000.
