Lisa Gates began her career at The Standard in 1994. She has held various positions through the years, including Senior Disability Benefits Analyst, specializing in training new analysts, and as Benefits Review Specialist, reviewing disputed claims in the Group Legal Department. In 2004, Lisa was promoted to Supervisor in National Accounts. In her role she is responsible for the supervision of twelve employees and the management of the MOSERS, MPERS and state of Washington accounts. Lisa is a graduate of Portland State University with a bachelor of science degree in speech communications. She is a member of the Portland Female Executives group and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Todd Meier joined The Standard in 2006 as a Vocational Case Manager. Todd is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and LPC, with a M.S. Degree in Education and Rehabilitation Counseling. He is a member of the American Mental Health Counselor's Association (AMHCA), the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE), Association for Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), and Counsel on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). Todd has worked for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and in the private sector as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. He has also worked as a Mental Health Counselor, Medical Insurance Auditor, Analyst and Trainer, and has worked as an Investigator for state and federally funded medical insurance programs. At The Standard, Todd's primary responsibilities are to support the Moser's claim team with Return to Work services.
