Pre-Conference for New HR Representatives

In response to last year’s post-conference survey results, the Missouri State Employees Retirement System (MOSERS) and Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan (MCHCP) will host a free “basic training” pre-conference on Friday, August 22, 2008 for employers that are new to the benefits field or that would like basic training on forms, reports, and procedures. This training will not be repeated at the Annual HR Conference in September at the Lake of the Ozarks. We encourage all new employers to attend both the basic training on August 22nd and the annual conference on September 9th to receive all of the information needed to optimally perform your duties.

This training is available to the first 60 attendees, but you must notify Sally Hager by August 8, 2008 if you plan to attend. You will receive an email confirming your registration after August, 8, 2008.





MOSERS Contribution Rates for FY 2009

Please see the attached memo from the OA Division of Accounting for 2009 employer contribution rates for employees covered under MOSERS, MCHCP, and the State of Missouri Deferred Compensation Incentive Plan. The contribution rates for FY 2009 are identified below. Life insurance and LTD contribution rates have not changed, however the retirement contribution rate is changing. For employers in SAM II, the contribution change will occur automatically. Non-SAM II employers will need to begin submitting the new retirement contributions for July payrolls.

Aged Accounts, Terminated, and Transfer Reports

Your reports are available online in the secure portion of MOSERS’ website. Please go to MOSERS' website and click on the Employer Login section of the site. Use your social security number and employer password to sign on. Once you are signed on, click on the applicable report. Names of individuals responsible for working the reports will appear on the right. You may view any or all portions of the report by clicking on the appropriate name or department. The reports are printer friendly and available online until MOSERS begins processing the next month’s report.
