New Tax Forms for Survivors and Retirees
As a result of recent Internal Revenue Service changes, benefit recipients will no longer be able to select flat federal tax withholding amount. The only options available will be:

• No withholding
• Withholding based on marital status and number of allowances.

We have updated our electronic, paper, and web forms to reflect this change.

If you have Retirement Packets in stock, please replace the Substitute W-4P (Tax Withholding Certificate) with the newest version of this form which can be accessed on our website.

Each year, MOSERS produces a Procedures Manual for all state employers regarding working with and communicating retirement benefits. This manual is distributed at the annual HR Conference and is available in HTML format on our website 24 hours a day. Is the manual useful? Are there things you would change?

Requesting a Password Requires Email Address on File
Please help us collect work email addresses for your employees. To gain secure access to personal information (like payroll eStubs) on MOSERS' website, an employee will need a password. To receive a password, an employee must follow the steps to "Request a Password" on MOSERS' website.

By having an email address for each employee, we can provide a quicker turn-around when an employee requests a password. If the email address entered by an employee on MOSERS' website matches our records, the password will be mailed to the employee instantaneously. Otherwise, the employee must wait to receive the password by mail.

You can help by providing us with a list of your employee work email addresses. Lists may be sent on a CD, or by encrypted email. Please include each employee's:

• Name
• Social security number
• Email address

Aged Accounts Report Now Available
If you are responsible for working the Aged Accounts Report, please note the following important information:

Your Aged Accounts Report is available online in the secure portion of MOSERS' website. Please go to www.mosers.org and click on the Employer Login section of the site. Use your social security number and password to sign on.

Once you are signed on, click the "Aged Accounts Report" heading. Names of individuals responsible for working the Aged Accounts Report will appear on the right. You may view any or all portions of the report by clicking on the appropriate name or department. The report is printer friendly and available online until MOSERS begins processing next month's report.
